Not to be outdone by the other Project Runway alum who put out notable collections, Malan Breton returned with a hip and edgy Fall '09 campaign. Neutered color patterns and a more buttoned-up look did little to take away the sharp lines that typically define the designer’s work.

Many of the outfits had the look a working girl willing to take risks in her professional life while maintaining the air of professionalism. All in all, the Malan Breton Fall ’09 line resulted in another successful run for the designer who seems to be thriving even in a flagging fashion industry.
