During a recent a fashion show, knee-high leather boots were used to accessorize the models and those boots managed to upstage much of the clothing. Everyone wanted to know what top shoemaker provided the footwear. Few were surprised to learn that famed vintage boutique What Comes Around Goes Around was responsible for the dazzling display. Founded in 1993 by college friends Gerard Maione and Seth Weisser, What Comes Around Goes Around is one of the nation's premier vintage destinations for the public and fashion industry alike. The boutique, situated in the heart of SoHo, offers a wide range of vintage garments and accessories dating back to the Victorian era. The shop is best known for its extensive collection of concert t-shirts, leather pieces, western wear, boots and the largest collection of denim apparel on the East Coast. The Women's Salon, which opened in the fall of 2003, is stocked with an eclectic high-end collection of hard-to-find pieces from numerous celebrated designers such as Alaia, Courreges, Hermes, Ossie Clark and Pucci. An educated team of salespeople is on hand in order to make shopping at What Goes Around Comes Around a style-clad trek through time.
